Bio
Scott Michael Kaplan (b. 1998) is a photographer and bookmaker living in Massachusetts. He received his degrees in Studio Art and Educational Studies from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. in 2020, he co-founded Intra books with his friend and publishing partner Matt Calarco.
Kaplan's work scratches beneath the surface of our everyday life. The work ignites an ongoing conversation with the ever changing landscape, displaying both an appreciation for the strange design of the places we call home and a comment on life’s numbing repetitiveness.
Constantly at war with meaning.
